Julie Felix RIP
Sad too hear about the passing of Julie Felix. Whilst I'm not generally much of a folk music fan, one of my favourite songs as a child was "Going to the Zoo", and she always seemed like a lovable aunt happy to entertain the kids for a while and it is one of my warmest childhood memories.Watching the monkey's scritch scritch scratchin' will never be the same again.The line about the elephants "sniffing up the peanuts" always sounds to me like "sniffing at the penis", but that may just be my filthy mind.Bob LittleDisgraceful yet tasteful.
