Is this a definite fact? I'd triple check it.IF correct, it beggars belief, Acton's not exactly the most law abiding/low crime Borough, by a looooooong shot.

Hi Rosco,I just double checked with Sarah Kearney that Acton Police Station is OPEN.Apparently a lady who lives in Acton telephoned the police station regarding drug taking and when the person answered her call she was told to contact Hanwell Police Station as Acton Police Station was closed.I am glad to have cleared that up as I was very concerned for Acton residents.

The local police tweeted the news of a temporary closure on the 4th Jan - they tweeted the reopening of Acton Police Station the following morning. So no worries.

Is there a cop shop in Hanwell?The one that used to be opp Westminster Rd I think is no more.Ealing too, although possibly open by special invite

When it was briefly closed, the Acton police advised that the nearest 24 hour front desk police station was in Hounslow!

The front desk at Acton Police Station is closed - temporarily - again (11am Sat).Be nice if they let us know why: covid? staff shortage? burst pipe? Someone mislaid the keys...?

Hanwell doesn't have a police station. If Acton is closed, the nearest would be Ealing, Shepherds Bush or Chiswick
