Chimney sweep?

Hi all.  Can anyone recommend a good chimney sweeper please?  Thanks.

Yes - Mr Heldt, 8902 4707.  Member of the national association of chimney sweeps.Have used him every other year for the past decade, he's efficient and pleasant - and cheap.  I recommended him to Colin J Murphy who said he was a third of the price of an alternative quote.

Thanks Catherine, Mr Heldt swept my chimneys.  He's a very nice man, arrived on time, very clean and explained what he was doing to the chimneys and even gave me advice.  Thanks again - I can highly recommend him.

Hi Kevin.  I see you're looking for someone to reline your chimney and I remembered this thread.  I used Mr Heldt, very good, for the sweep but thought you may like to contact him incase he does relining or knows someone who does.We are currently about to have a wood burning stove installed and need our chimney lining.  We're probably going to use castironfireplacecompany.com but I can't recommend them at the moment as we've not used them yet!  They seemed very experienced though.

Just had my chimney swept by the lovely Mr. Heldt. Despite having a chimney liner, he managed to do the job to great satisfaction and minimal cleaning afterwards while discussing our joint dutch seafarers ancesters!  Can highly recommend him and will def. use him next year. 020-8902 4707/07958 588 680. £45 well spent!As for liners, I used Ian Millard of London Chimney Installations Ltd 020 8669 1265/ansa&fax 8254 9087/Mob.07759 277 493. He did an excellent job at reasonable price.

Mr Heldt is an absolute gem; he inspected our chimney, cleaner it and took the time to explain to two Australian's the tricks to using and maintaining a Victoria fireplace. We shall certainly have Mr Heldt back next year; he comes highly recommended!

"Ladies, do you need your chimney swept?  And Kevin"...I know I need my chimney sweeping again this year, but not sure I need a Kevin. What is Kevin offering and how much does he charge?Sorry, couldn't resist.  Pssst.  Kevin does a great head massage in the salon.  Highly recommended.

KevinDon't think you are the Kevin.  It was some stupid e-mail I got about fixing my computer, which does not need fixing.  Mind you my LaCie monitor may need re-calibrating.

Following the recommendations on this thread, employed Mr. Heldt to sweep our chimney yesterday.  Lovely helpful man, full of advice and great price.  Definitely recommend and will certainly use again.
