My parents in law stayed for 3 nights about 6 weeks ago. they said that the rooms were nice, very clean and everything was brand new eg flat screen tv and comfy beds. however it all went wrong on the 2nd night when they were kept up till 3am by a group of drunken residents who were shouting, arguing and slamming doors all night. my mother in law asked then to be quiet but they just stared at her and carried on being yobbish - they didn't seem to speak english. mother in law is in her 60s and was really frightened. They went down to reception to get the hotel staff to ask the group to be quiet but there was noone there - they were told next day that there are no staff on duty there from 02.00-06.00 but there is a phone number to call instead to reach someone off site. That does not seem safe to me?Anyway, the last night was uneventful as the group left that morning. the receptionist who came on duty in the morning kept saying "I'll speak to the manager about this" but in laws never heard anything, not even an apology.So I probably would not recommend it which is a shame cos I want new businesses in Acton to do well.
