'That House on East Acton Lane' - Again and The Chipshop
I confused the site by having both Chiswick and Acton open at the same time so this ended up twice on Chiswick. Hopefully this will make it to ActonW3......This is finally being resolver at Planning Committee tonight. The owner was partly successful on appeal against the enforcement notice and most matters have been resolved by negotiation. Looks like a clear win by the owner as agreed alterations are minor. So the combined house with pillar and external features, conversion of adjoining house to 2 flats and underground swimming pool all remain. See http://www.ealing.gov.uk/ealing3/export/sites/ealingweb/services/council/committees/agendas_minutes_reports/regulatory_committees/planning_committee/20may2008-15may2009/_18_feb_2009/item6x06x_appendixa_east_acton_lane.pdf for the appeal determination and items 6 & 7 on the agenda for the revised planning aps. Also on tonights agenda is recommendation for approval of demolition of the chipshop on East Acton Lane, despite it's 'Spot Listing' prioe to the last planning meeting. The interior is to be salvaged and rehoused by a museum outside London.
