Signing up to the Power 2010 slate
http://www.power2010.org.uk/page/s/powerpledgeHi, have folks signed up to the Power Pledge? It has been whittled down to five pledges, from 100,000 votes. These are scrapping plans for ID cards, a fully elected second chamber, proportional representation for general elections and English MPs only voting on laws that affect England alone.Power2010 says realistically, not everyone who signs up to the plegde agrees with all five on the slate, but they hope to lobby prospective parliamentary candidates in the run up to the election. The more people who sign up to the pledge, the more legitimacy they have.
