I am frankly disgusted that I receive a postal voting form with a conservative ad!  This is a joke and im fairly sure quite illegal.

Maybe you could email the Electoral Commission, they may know what the rules are

Alice - my husband and I received these - initially I thought they were from Ealing Council and was about to complete mine, when I realised that I had already, some time ago, completed one for Ealing, and then that it had come from a political party.  I will not be returning it - nothing to do with whichever party sent it, but because I don't think it's anything to do with the party.

On what grounds could it conceiveably be illegal? Canvassers often give out postal vote forms. You can get them on the Internet. Presumably the Tories are distributing them because more Tory voters have need of them.

Odd thought the page is no longer accessible on the AB website.She recently said Business tax should return to the control of Councils. No probs with that except she nicked the idea from the Liberals.

All politicians nick each others ideas - which I think a good thing if it means good ideas get widely adopted rather than rubbish ones.
