Aid for Haiti AppealOn behalf of descendants I would like to thank you for your kind donations to our ‘Aid for Haiti’ appeal. As you know we raised £1,612 plus. We have decided to split the money between 3 charities. 1. Save the children 2. Oxfam 3.Yele Haiti foundationEach charity has been sent £500. We are still trying to send some items such as clothes however due to matters beyond my control, the items that were in Priory have been removed.I will continue with our fundraising efforts and will be back at Acton Market this Saturday. I have some lovely items donated which I will bring Tomorrow but cannot accept any more of your wonderful offers. Thank you each and everyone for your generosity which has been truly appreciated..Please Keep the people of Haiti and Chile in your thoughts and prays.Margaret Co-ordinator of Descendants.
