Friary Road

I see that since they regularly have monitoring vehicles is sight of Harry's cafe the truck drivers are driving right down Friary Road and around the corner to park their great big heavy vehicles while they walk back and have their lunch at around 1.00pm.I think there is a weight restriction sign before you enter the area but this is obviously no worry to the hungry drivers who want their lunch. One in particular is National Grid Gas fully loaded with soil or sand stuff.

Yes there is one at the other end in Goldsmith Road and it could be put next the little triangular green( one each side).But if they are making the area a CPZ it should fix this problem.

i passed this morning and there was vehicles parked on both sides of the road by the traffic lights causing a jam. I wish that this cafe would fall down the embankment and do all of the residents a favour and relieve us of this parking blight. The drivers when approached are down right rude and abusive.

Good idea Dee, but not sure about the width restriction as I think there has to be access for emergency services, a la Goldsmith Avenue and the barrier that can be unlocked.  There isn't enough room in this area, I don't think, but I shall put it to Vlod Barchuk anyway.
