Earth Hour

I often use candles just because I like them. Doesn't mean I burgled, and anyway who leaves a candle burning when they go out?

My son can't wait for earth hour..last year we had a puppet show, talked, had tons of candles...was a bit sad when the lights came back on.

So is anyone going to explain what Earth hour actually is?back to wikipedia I suppose.

An hour when the lights will go out in major cities all over the world at 8.30 GMT. In London, Buck Pal, the Gerkin, etc. will all be in darkness. It's a reminder of how much power we use, climate issues and so on. People will collect in Trafalgar Square with candles.

Oh dear, we were at Park Royal for the John Lewis Bonus Party (15% this year!) It was fun but not exactly eco-friendly.

On a whim I had a less than enchanting Saturday night out and decided to find Tesco at Gillette Corner for cheap work jeans. Lots of lights there, but I did switch my burglar lights off at home before I left.
