Recycling question

If you live in Appleby House on the South Acton Estate, what provision is made for recycling...or is it expected, as someone told me today, that weveryone just slings all their unsorted rubbish into one big bin?

John Gallagher, one of the Labour councillors for the South Acton ward said that as from April (let us hope) there will be recyling bins in all the flats in the council of Ealing, including housing association etc.  We should get leaflets soon to say what we can put in and what we can't

With all the new-build on the South Acton Estate there is a really good opportunity to set up a good recycling and waste system.  It should be considered earlier in the design than it once was.  'Should'!  Waste departments nowadays like to be consulted at concept stage.
