CPZ renewal
Having volunteered as a guinea pig for the CPZ renewal process, here is my experience, if anyone is interested.The renewal letter arrived this morning. I award it points for being clear; for being dated; for the date (31st March) matching the postmark; and for asking for the correct amount for a K1 renewal.The Ealing Web site says "You will receive your renewal form 28 days before your current permit expires". It arrived 27 says before. Hmmm.The Web site also says "You must write your permit number beginning with RZ on the back of your cheque or Postal Order". There is no mention of this in the letter. Hmmm again.Several points are deducted for requesting payment by cheque, but not saying to whom the cheque should be payable. How obvious is that?The cheque was posted today, first class. Twenty seven days to go and counting.
