Maintenance charges
We pay a monthly maintenance charge on our block of flats and then we are billed for any major works that occur. Our block is undergoing refurbishment works soon and we have been notified of the total cost, including an admnistration fee, applied by the leaseholder. This fee is 20%, which seems a bit excessive to us for the work involved. It works out to be around £50,000 for block, which seems alot to arrange a contractor to carry out the works. Does any have any idea what an average administration fee would be or does anyone have any other administration fee %'s they could give me as an example? Thanks
