Firstly I have to apologise to Sara and Alice for not responding promptly to their emails. It is fantastic that I am getting lots of supportive emails but sometimes I miss some that I need to respond to.Responding to the various points raised in this topic, firstly, Ealing Central & Acton is indeed a very marginal seat. I only need a 1.5% swing to win based on applying the results of the last general election to the new boundaries but I am far from complacent as I recognise that while many local people have had enough of Gordon Brown and are not going to vote Labour again, I still need to convince people to vote Liberal Democrat rather than Conservative. It is clear to all, including in the Ladbrokes odds Richard quoted, that Labour can't win the new seat. Most Labour activists are concentrating on defending Steve Pound in Ealing North. The choice is between the Conservative candidate and myself.The website Richard quoted was for the old Ealing Acton & Shepherds Bush constituency, hence the "EASB" in the address.
