Sports Massage

I am thinking about getting a sports massage this week ahead of the London Marathon on Sunday. Are there any recommended places in Acton?

Move Physio on Acton Lane.  Very good at all sports physio and he specialises in running.  I think he's working all day on Saturday as he's treating so many runners.Good luck on Sunday - I hope it stays sunny and cool and you have a great run.  I'll be watching at 13.5 and 22 miles so listen for the Acton accent in the shouting!I'm running Edinburgh at the end of May so London should get me in the mood!

Depending on the weather. I ran last year and managed 4hr 15 with the heat. Would be veryy happy with around 4hrs or below.

Hope it goes well Tony, 4 hrs is a great target and you must be well fit! I am sponsoring Elen, a late 50's Librarian from LBHF running for Cancer Research UK in memory of her colleague and my late wife, Julie. It is her first mararthon and she has had little time to train. I hope she does well and you too!

Iain, Wish good luck to Elen I know she will enjoy it and the crown really keep you going. Looking at the forecast for sunday it looks like it is going to be a warm day which will get the crowd out. Not so nice for the runners though.

Good luck to everyone running. I was very disappointed when I saw the forecast for Sunday. What I am fearing is going to be tough time just got tougher!!! If you see me please give me a cheer (Blue shirt with Special Effect and Martin on the front, runner number 54089) I should do the first 13miles in just under 2 hours but who knows about the second half!!!
