Indeed, I and at least 2 of my neighbours have been adopted by a 'stray' cat, I don't think he has a home, he just goes from place to place, likes a chat and a few biscuits, sometimes stays the night, and has never fouled the place once in 2 years, he always 'asks' to get out.The only time I do worry about him is in the freezing cold winter, if I or other neighbours who take him in are out, then he usually finds a warm car to hide under.I really wonder whether I should call Cat Protection or somewhere like that, I will see how it goes this winter.I used to have a cat, but he died nearly 6 years ago, he is buried in the garden, after that I vowed never to get a cat again, and be responsible for it, so this cat doesn't ask to be a pet, he seems quite happy with the life he has, also he has been neutered, so he is in good condition. If I did believe in re-incarnation I would swear he was someone I knew, he is uncanny.
