Hardly an interesting post, sorry, but can anyone recommend a good local garage for an MOT? thanks in anticipation.

Berkeley MOT, off A4 Bath Road, Cranford nr Heathrow - they ONLY do MOTs, thus have no financial interest in selling expensive repairs; they also do necessary minor adjustments etc and advice at no extra charge. They do 'while you wait or by appointment. They are also a thoroughly nice bunch of guys.Can't recomend them too highly.

Locally, I can suggest Chiswick Car Craft, 337-339 Acton LaneActon W3 8NU 020 8992 3174 (Mike), or Knights of London, 12a Emanuel Avenue, London, W3 6JH 020 8992 2655 (Julie). I've had work done at both and was very satisfied.

Burlingtons on Birbeck Rd think that is the name of the road, same rd that The Rocket is on. They have done my service and MOT and never charge the earth.
