Wedding Venues in Acton?

Does anybody know of places in Acton (or reasonably nearby) which are licensed to conduct wedding ceremonies?Acton Town Hall has been looked into but apparently it doesn't have a licence anymore.If anyone has any suggestions or experience of getting married locally, I'd be grateful.Also, any suggestions for somewhere nice to hold a party afterwards, or a restaurant meal?  Budget is limited.Many thanks.

The orangery in Gunnersbury Park - absolutely gorgeous for a summer wedding.  There is a good room upstairs at the King's Head or back of the George & Dragon.  Finally, there is a big church opposite Morrisons ha ha!!

I'm sure it doesn't have a wedding licence but the cafe in the park is begining to be used for parties etc and is lovely on a good day. I don't expect it's very expensive...nor is upstairs at the Rocket.I think venues with licences do tend to be pricey

The room upstairs at the Station House is perfect we held our reception there

Assuming you are not looking to get married in church...(plenty to choose from in Acton)St Mary's Church hall near Morrisons is often used for wedding receptions - holds up to 200 people and you can bring in your own food/catering/flowers/music.  Good value!  The parish office on 020 8993 0422 is open Mon - Fri am between 10.30 am and 12.30pm. or email stmary.acton@btconnect.comwww.stmaryacton.org.uk

It's functional but no-one could call it pretty or inviting could they? Unlike all three of the pubs mentioned. On the other hand, there is space to dance there.

I agree, try Gunnersbury Park, if the weather holds up, it really is nice in the evening. Congrats by the way and hope all the prepations go smoothly as well as the big day!
