Nominate council staff to be in to win £100 (PR 133)Residents have until 28 May to nominate their favourite Ealing Council employees and be in with a chance to win £100.Ealing Council is urging residents to nominate council officers and contractors who they feel have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Chief Executive, Martin Smith, said: "There are many unsung heroes across the council who really go the extra mile to deliver excellent services to Ealing’s residents. I want to be able to thank those staff for a job well done and I hope residents will take a few moments of their time to make a nomination."Anyone can make a nomination and those who do will be entered into a free prize draw to win shopping vouchers. There will be two draws, one for internal and one for external nominations.People can nominate anyone who works for the council or one of its contractors, including teachers, carers, street sweepers, telephone operators and librarians. The categories are: 1. Unsung Hero 2. Team of the Year 3. Outstanding Customer Service 4. Sustainability 5. Leadership and Motivation 6. Value for MoneyNominations can be made online.All nominations will be judged by a cross party panel of councillors along with senior council officers.Everyone shortlisted will be invited to attend the award ceremony in July.
