Morrisons getting rid of Wholefood Section

Just found out today that Morrisons are getting rid of their Wholefood section.  It's only small, most people probably walk past it (it's near the bread section), but it does have a few good things.  And if anything, it's just a small token that they are interested in healthy living.Anyway I spoke to a manager along with a lady who was complaining about the same thing, the usual answer of course - Head Office have decided to "delete that section" ,"nothing I can do about it".I don't suppose it'll make much difference but if those that do use it would take 5 mins to write to Morrison's Customer Services at Head Office, maybe it'll get a stay of execution:http://www.morrisons.co.uk/Store-Finder/About-customer-services/Contact-Us/

You can get most of the same things and more from the health food store in Market Place.

But it's extortionate - just bought some dried prunes there and it was several pounds - tinned ones in Morrisons very much cheaper.. though not what I wanted.

I noticed they'd stopped all flours other than wheat.  No rye, spelt, etc.

Morrisons replied to my email, saying they are going to stock their own brand of wholefoods.

yes I got that too.  It'll be interesting to see what these are like.

I got that reply from them - seemed they are going to stock nuts and seeds.  Clearly they think people who eat wholefoods have feathers and wings.  I can't wait.
