Does anyone know a good fish and chip shop around here?

I like Shams on Churchfield Rd, Morrisons end. Not really a fan of the Lazy Fish Bar. King Cod has opened on the Vale near Acton Park.I would go for Shams though.Rob

Atlantic Fish Bar on Churchfield rd give huge portions of chips, one portion enough for 2, and the cod is freshly cooked for u. Very good food and very good value, would recommend them everytime

I wasn't going to mention the Atlantic, but as you have ...Myself and neighbour quite independently tried the Atlantic on the basis of a recent comment in the CCA Newsletter. Neither of us will go there again. The problem was not quantity, but quality.

Would recommend the chips in Savoy too. King Cod on the Vale has yet to open. Met the owner this afternoon and he said he should be open in two weeks time.

Granted they are not always perfect, and to be honest when I was at the other end of Acton I always went to Tonys, his chips are definately the best in Acton.

Would be lovely if we had a Pie and Mash shop in Acton
