Guesthouse or hotel

My son lives in Lowfield Road, Acton. My other son came over for a family funeral and I am looking for a double or 2 single rooms for 14/15/16 & 17th May. Any suggestions? Personal recommendations appreciated.ThanksPatsy Smith

The Ramada, Ealing Common.Travelodge....Opposite B&Q on the A40.The Encore ? at Gypsy Corner.Holiday Inn Express.....North Acton Station.Hilton ?....Hanger Lane Gyratory.Just a few suggestions but haven't tried any myself.

The Encore is very nice, we went to see friends who stayed there. The restaurant is excellent - recommended! Friendly staff.Relatives stayed at the Ramada Jarvis in Ealing Common, it was fine but the rooms were rather small!

The guesthouse opposite Thai Nice on the Uxbridge Rd has recently been renovated (the one with the palm trees and coconuts). The owner gave me a guided tour..all very nice and clean. All rooms are ensuite. Worth calling to check room rates.
