New pavements?
It seems that everywhere (at once) in Acton, the curbs and pavements are being replaced. With the work going on in so many places, it's quite difficult for pedestrians to get about. But now I've noticed, where they have put the new curbs, the haven't put dropped ones in at the zebra crossing by Morrisons. Instead, they have used asphalt to create a slope down. Looks unsightly (particularly against the very light coloured new stone), and it looks too steep to be helpful for wheelchair users. Anyone know what's going on and who's coordinating this? Seems very ill planned.
