This does seem to be a rushed timetable. I got the impression that the previous consultation was merely to see whether people approved the principle of a CPZ. If detailed design, which is to define where parking bays and yellow lines should actually be positioned, wasn't going to start until after approval on 23 February, what opportunity has been given for residents to comment? I assume this is what's meant by "statutory consultation", but significantly no dates are given for that.Has the area already been laid out with road markings? Was the detailed design posted to residents for their comments? It doesn't appear to be on the Ealing council website.
