Acton Park? Fun Fair?

Anyone know what dates and what time when Acton park fun fair starts someone said there was a fair there just wanted to make sure?

i did reply to this earlier...don't know what happenned to it. The fair runs from 27th May to 8th June. Posters on the park gates

Sorry to sound a killjoy but the sheer quantity of rubbish - in bags and spilling out of them along East Churchfield road is enormous - and all since the fair arrived this morning.It's with us till June 6th. I wonder if any extra provision for rubbish collection is being made (and paid for!)

As a second killjoy, I agree with Sarah.  I've been complaining for twenty odd years!  The rubbish will just build up, particularly as visitors park their cars and dump their rubbish in the street. Just as another warning note, I notice that one of the caravans has a large notice outside warning people to beware of the dog.  Dog walkers may like to be careful.

I've reported it to streetwatchers - maybe it will be cleared up.I'm not anti-fair, just anti rubbish.

If it's the same people as last year it's a huge black german shepherd / hairy mammoth thing. Enormous and very intimidating. I for one will not be taking my dog over there while the fair is on.

Toby - I couldn't agree more!  I've lived here for 26 years and have come to dread the late May bank holiday.  The park looks like a shanty town, it is taken over by the fair for three weeks, and when they eventually leave the park is in a mess for weeks afterwards.  If people want to go to a fair surely they're better off going to somewhere like Alton Towers rather than going to this tin pot affair.  To say nothing of the noise and parking problems that it produces!
