Daily Telegraph Power.....

Having disposed of David Laws as Chief Secretary of the Treasury they are now after his replacement, Danny Alexander (former PR bod for the Caledonian Forest National Park)OK David Laws may have been in the wrong but should the editor or perhaps proprietors (Barclay Bros) have this much power? What else are they sitting on and how will they use it to destabilize the govt?PS I am not a fan of the ConDems but concerned about where this is all heading.....Discuss

I suspect they didn't use it earlier because the libdems just weren't interesting enough - and now they are.

It does make you wonder what else the Telegraph has got on MP expenses. I think they should now come clean and release everything they have got.I don't condone what David Law has done with respect to his expences but feel sorry that he has bee outed in such an underhand way by the Telegraph.

I'm sorry he's gone too but don't think the Telegraph particularly underhand: all MPs know that they have the goods on expenses and have had for over a years. So why didn't he just come clean last September when he stopped making the claims? No-one would have cared then and it would be irrelevant now
