There was a fatal stabbing there in the small hours this morning according to the shepherds bush site - young man in his twenties - no-one apprehended.

He was taken to a West London Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.There have been unconfirmed reports of an altercation in the area prior to the stabbingMany local people witnessed the aftermath of the incident. On the ChiswickW4.com forum Alexandra Brown reported: "We live on Ashchurch Terrace and heard the sirens and helicopers overhead last night. The police are not giving much away at all other than there was a murder at around 1am this morning and that the area will be closed off for most of the day."An incident room has been opened under DCI Howard Groves from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command.
