Free Hair and Beauty Treaments today

I have just heard that the new Hair and Beauty Salon (think it's called Renique) at Vanilla's former home on Churchfield Road is offering a free trial treatment. A friend has just had her eyebrows threaded and said they did a good job. Very clean and bright inside but no price list available yet...

I had heard it was only for ladies in headscarves - or only by ladies in headscarves. The glass is very obscured which is not usual in other hairdressers.

My friend (wearing vest and shorts) was offered a free treatment when she was passing by which she was delighted to accept. So I think we can safely assume that there is not a dress code for customers. The glass is opaque which I suppose offers a degree of privacy to women who prefer not to be gawped at when having their hair or beauty treatments, Muslim or otherwise.

Well, that's good to know - it looked rather exclusive the couple of times I stopped.
