Can any one on the forum recommend a good, reasonably local NHS dentist? Particularly if you have experience of having work such as crowns, root canal work as well as routine check-ups. Thanks.

I go to Mortons in Haven Green (2 min walk from Ealing Broadway tube station). They do a mix of NHS and private.I had root canal with them and it didn't hurt at all.

I used to go to Mortons but their prices became very steep. I got the same work done at Springfield Dentist surgery on Horn Lane a lot cheaper ( A crown priced £300 at Mortons, £60 at Springfield).The interior may not be as pretty but the dentist I have, Mr Ahmed is excellent.

Marie McGrath at Sacoors (opposite Morrisons) is exceellent. She really put me at my eaae. tel = 020 8 992 6681. As with everything, ask about prices and procedures before committinhg to the work.
