You've got to hand it to her - she has certainly been busy recently.  This Labour voter is impressed with the hours she's been putting in so far!

She is industrious - and this is a three way marginal. If as predicted, the Liberal Democrat vote collapses, she is vulnerable to a not very huge swing - and given the popularity of some of the things the coalition is proposing - she is right to work jolly hard.Even if there is a coalition pact: no Libdems standing in Tory seats and vice versa - as is mooted in some political circles - she may have a tricky time.

.......and she had time to meet me at the Houses of Parliament on Monday for a lobby on education funding.  She is also friends with Sir Trevor Phillips which I thought was very cool.  Will still never vote for her party though.

I am still waiting for her to reply to me concerning the Governments illegal decision to change the compensation package for Civil Servants. I posed this question to her over 2 weeks ago.

I am a Civil Servant and we have been asked by our Union the PCS to lobby our local MPs. My colleague who approached her MP has already received a reply from her one. He is Labour though.

Thank you Tony. I'd be interested to hear whether the Labour MP you mention has said whether the current severance arrangements for Civil Servants are supported by the Labour party? Are you also interested in the bonus structure for some Civil Servants? There is a bit in the Sunday Times today about the Met. office.
