Film Unit Acton Park

The entrance to the park is full of unit trucks this morning - anyone know what is being filmed? The catering always look v tempting - really fancied a bacon roll this morning too!  Thanks

why didn't you ask them? everyone eating and chatting I imagine some of them spoke English!

sadly no one around to speak to - catering tent empty - no one hanging around etc apart from a few people on a double decker bus!

I used to work as a film extra. The food is very welcome, hanging around in the open air, especially as you have to be in wardrobe at 7am. Breakfast tastes great! Double deckers are used as green rooms, one for the 'stars' and one for the extras :)

Black Island is our favourite film studio in Acton...we did the catering for Diana Vickers and Meatloaf a few months back and this month for Alexandra Burke and Charlotte Church. Its normally a late call and food required within the hour for 40-60 crew and 'artisit' but on a quiet night, its a good gig to get although it puts a lot of pressure on the kitchen. Ealing Film Studios is also fun to visit when you think of its history.
