Burglar alarms

I have sacked ADT (whom I consider rip-off merchants) as the people who service my alarm. Is there such a thing as an independent tradesman who services most alarms - or are they all tied to individual brands?

Try Young & Young in Hammersmith - small family owned business. I've had no problem with them.
