The bug is that links in the first post don't have quotation marks handled properly. It means that images don't appear, in IE and Firefox anyway, and links don't work. If it works for you, perhaps your browser is more intelligent.
How interesting - I normally use Firefox but must used Safari because the first post images do show up in Safari and they also appear OK in Google Chrome.So I suppose I would have to make a dummy first post in future.
In most cases, links work on the first post if you omit the quote signs. I believe this is not good HTML but seems to work.
What a difference indeed...and now that the council have started looking after the area destroyed during the construction of the flood relief system, it's starting to look lovely again...

I can see the pictures in the OP. Using Chrome browser.Amazing how the grass just bounces back. I remember in '76, 'experts' said the grass was dead, gone, defunct; come the autumn rains, back it came.
