HP Photosmart C4180 - All in One

My printer keeps saying that there is a "paper jam" and there isn't (have taken all the bits apart).  Is there a printer repair shop somewhere in Acton or the vicinity?  I think it may need a service.  Thanks.

If you have only searched for a whole sheet of jammed paper, check (using a torch) that there isn't a torn-off corner of paper somewhere in the works, causing an internal sensor to think that a whole sheet is present.

Have you downloaded the user guide from the HP site?That might give you some clues as to where to check.it must be one of the most common issues, so see if there is a dedicated Forum for your model to see if they can assist.Good luck!

I'm sure you've also tried switching off the power, strong light and a pair of tweezers to investigate potential crevices?Could something have become dislodged elsewhere while you were trying to fix the paper jam, so you may have actually cleared it, but now have a different snag?When you switch it back on, see if it gives any helpful indication as to whereabouts a jam might be....If all else fails, Steve Bonnici at Chiswick Computers may be your saviour!!
