Great job by local police.

The police woke me at 2am this morning to tell me they had just caught a thief stealing the remaining lead flashing from my extension; the first half was stolen a month ago to the day.  They were wonderful, the presence of the police dog persuaded the thief to come down quietly.... well that's our excuse for not hearing a thing!  I can't go into much more at the moment but I just wanted to shout it loud that the Police were wonderful! ! ! !

That's very reassuring in one way - though not so good in the other.there was afeature about thieves even taking the copper or was it lead from points on the underground - such is the inflation in the price of metals.

The Police do a good job, considering the constraints that "politics" continually puts them under.It's the hugely misguided Judiciary that lets the Police down time and again, after they've done their job and apprehended the villain.Another abject lesson for Political Science students:-How to efficiently erode and demoralise your Police Force over a period of time.
