Spot Light on Shepherds Bush.

Interesting read in the property Section of last night's Evening Standard. The article mentioned Stanford Brook and Ravenscourt Park as being part of Shepherd's Bush. Is this strictly true? or is it like South Acton being part of Chiswick!!

I think Stamford Brook is W12 and Ravenscourt Park W6, so it would be S Bush & H'smith

Emlyn Road is W12 where it reaches Stamford Brook. Turn right into Bath Road W4, left into Stamford Brook Road W6. I would think Ravenscourt is Hammersmith.

If you look at http://homepages.gold.ac.uk/genuki/MDX/Hammersmith/outline.htmyou get a map of the Parishes of Hammersmith 1903. Shepherds Bush is included so not a separate civic entity. As Chiswick and South Acto share W4, Shepherds Bush/Hammersmith and West Kensington share W12,W6 and W14. I think the western end of Goldhawk Rd and Stamford Brook Rd is a boundary but it is less clear nearer the Bush where some streets to the south are clearly Shepherds Bush....
