Graffiti on the Oveground Railway line - Acton Central - Gunnersbury

How do people feel about the above?

I can't recall what the graffiti is like on that stretch, but in general Network Rail's control of graffiti is appallingly lax. In contrast, London Underground insisted some years ago that their PPP partners, Metronet and Tube Lines, must tackle the problem with determination, and this was done. It meant that a lot of bare brick was covered in a sort of brown colour, but once that had been done, any new graffiti was very rapidly painted over.  And that standard has been maintained.  Network Rail shoukld do likewise.

Haven't noticed really - am still rather pleased that the bridge over the railway at Shaa/Peeryn road/Goldsmith Road gets cleaned every fortnight or so by Ealing - makes it much less threatening. Now that was a long campaign/negotiation that worked in the end.

There's always a lot on the stretch coming in to Richmond station; there are signs of it having been painted out in the past (it's mostly on concrete fencing/walls alongside the track) but they don't seem to deal with it in a consistent fashion. I don't do the journey that often but seem to see the same graffiti in place over a long time period ...
