Armed Police in Churchfield Road Sat. Night.

Did anyone else see the armed police outside Londis on Saturday night about 10.30. Two patrol cars, an unmarked police car with plain clothes officers and two armed Police with snazzy little machine gun thingies. They appeared to be paying a visit to the flat above the shop that featured in this forum eariler in the year. A comment from the crowd outside the Rocket was "that this is getting to be a weekly event". There were also patrol cars further up the road outside the garage stopping people. I've never seen armed police in the area and hope that it doesn't become a regular event.

The new tenants of that flat were thought by neighbours and the observant to be in no way preferable to the previous ones - just mildly more discreet. the police had been watching them for some time I heard.

A housing association according to the new sergeant at the Ward Forum. Words are being had. Dunno how effectively.

Ealing Council need to take up the rental of this property with the Housing Association.  Do you know which Housing Association?If not, what's the number of the building - it will be an easy task to check with the Land Registry to find out.

Now that I have the number of this commercial premise - I possibly will.  Doesn't the Churchfield Community Association have a list of the ownership of all the commercial premises in Churchfield Road?

There is a list at  http://www.churchfield.org/default.asp?Page=12&Categories=19.. but it's rather out of date, and I doubt if it includes drug dens.

Perhaps the business members of the CCA should ask that the list be updated, as they are supposed, so I thought, to represent them.
