I ran through Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens on the way home tonight and it was such a lovely sight with the colour of the leaves on the trees. Got home to discover that a tree has been planted at the bottom of Berrymead Gardens by the Council. Totally forgot that I sent them an E.Mail at the beginning of the year moaning that we did not have any trees planted in the street.

Cycled to SW1 today - force majeure, haven't done it for ages - and our park and all the others looked gorgeous.If one is going to have tube strike expelling thousands to cycle and walk to work, today was definitely the day to do it.
