Acropolis Restaurant Gunnesbury Lane

Driving along Gunnesbury Lane tonight I wondered why there were so few cars parked by the Princess Ave turn..then saw that the Acropolis was dark and closed. Anyone know whats happening?

We went once, two years ago, just after we moved nearby.  It was awful - bad food, bad service.

One would have thought that there are plenty of houses and flats nearby that might like a nice meal out once in a while...though saying that, I live about 500 yards from The Acropolis (and have done for 3 years), and the only time the other half and I were tempted, we were discouraged by the dingy atmosphere, basic menu and the fact that it was completly empty although (at the time) open.Better to head over Ealing Common way and visit The Lantern Taverna I say...

perhaps the only one with different view but we used to love this place and even spent NY 2005 there; that is before I discovered Thai Nice.
