Ealing Council - Important proposed planning changes
I thought you might be interested in the following article taken from page 19 of the Ealing Gazette this week. Planning to keep us in the dark!! Residents might not be aware that Ealing Council is trying to pull a fast one to keep residents in the dark about future planning applications in the streets across Ealing. They have amended documents which will mean that the current process of mailing residents about planning applications that might affect them will end! They say that a few notices on lamp posts will do the job but we know that many of those notices will either fall to the ground, be pulled off by vandals or not be noticed. Liberal Democrat council team has uncovered this trick, it is important to ensure that the proposal is reversed. This can be done by writing to the Planning Policy Team at Perceval house, 4th Floor SW, 14-16 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, W5 2HL, saying that you think the council should write to residents to inform them of local planning applications so everyone concerned is more aware and can have their say. They can also be e-mailed via planpol@ealing.gov.uk by Councillor Gary Malcolm
