Someone has suggested to me that all the parking vouchers will expire at the end of December when the year moves to 2011 and the vouchers don't have that.Can this be true?It seems unlikely but I would love someone to confirm either way...will be jolly cross if so as I am sure there was nothing on the form I sent in to order new books and I have loads!

I have dealt with BT, zen, O2, prescriptions, raileurope and a hotel in Amsterdam today...plus finished a project, designed a poster and contacted our MP and four councillors....You do the parking office
Anyone else affected? I could do with more ammunition when dealing with Parking Services...
This is ridiculous, they shouldn't expire at all. They should at the least be exchangeable. We spend our money, THEY change the system. This would be the 2nd time in a couple of years and I still have books from the last time that I'm too worried to use even though they carry no expiry date. I'll join in, they should show their residents some bloody respect.

Newly bought 3 hour vouchers for zone K have no year at all, the freebies go on until 2011 but I still have plenty of all day ones which appear to only go to the end of 2010.Very annoying if they are going to run out.

The woman who told me - she has them just for visitors and thought she had to use the whole lot by December - which seems loopyI'm sure we were never told of an expiry date when we bought them. At the very least they shoud be refundable - if not extendable.

My husband went down to Ealing Parking Services this morning to buy some more vouchers and queried this with them. As just posted, they confirmed that any vouchers that have a year on them will continue to be valid provided that no year is scratched off.

If they are paranoid about people using a voucher more than once, i.e. the same day on successive years, 2010 tickets may not be valid after December 2011. It would be as well to have this clarified now, to avoid a similar panic in a year's time.

I asked them for a reply in writing so that we all have something to send to Parking services in the event of any mishap (ie wardens not having been told about this). I received this reply:Dear Clare, Thank you for your email. I can confirm that these vouchers will still be valid for use after this year. When using them next year you will need to scratch off all the information apart from the year. You do not need to scratch the year or write the year on the voucher and they will still be valid for use.
