last night on perryn road  3.30am-4.30am

did anyone else notice the two police cars and police van driving slowely up and down perryn road between 3.30 to 4.30am ?does anyone know who or what they were after ? its quite unusual for them to be driving up and down for that long.

I saw a police car stopped on the corner of Woodhurst Road, and a PC questioning and searching a man of European appearance around that time.He seemed to be very co-operative. He wasn't hand cuffed. They searched his pockets etc, then they let him on his way.

Are you lot vampires can't you sleep? Or do you have a milk round. European! That narrows it down.I am always amazed at what the more sane members  of the locality are up to in the wee small hours.Try some horlicks or ask the local dealers what they have got on offer you might sleep more soundly.

Colin, just think...if burglars, prowlers, peeping toms, car thieves are caught because someone couldn't get to sleep surely that would be a good thing?Sometmes people might just get up to answer a call of nature and just happen to look out of the window - what should they do if they find something suspicious...go back to bed?I once noticed a peeping tom in our street, this was well after midnight. I rang the Police who came and removed him from the area!On another occasion my husband noticed someone trying to steal from cars so again the Police were called to deal with the situation.

Sounds like you have a sleeping problem. What look out the window while answering the call of nature that would scare any peeping tom.

An ambulance was called to outside the Red Lion and Pineapple last night, according to the bar staff it is because someone managed to miss the barriers and fall into the great big hole in the road!
