I simply asked because my wife caught the tail end of a media announcement (TV) which indicated there was a new reason in justifying. On the core point made Sarah, I agree that and more critically I suspect the Blitz mindset displayed by commuters so far, does have an ultimate breaking point? Whether the award for dumbness (and blame) goes to the union or TfL or is allocable is something I am not fully up to speed on I admit. To those of us with longer memories we do seem to be getting into the well rehearsed dance of employers and unions seen in the 60s and 70s where after the strikes and disruption were all over, people just scratched their heads and questioned what it all ever achieved
