Lost Cat, Acton Central, Can You Help?

Our cat has been missing since Tuesday 23rd November, has anyone spotted him?He is a large black and white longhair (not fat, fluffy!) with a thin purple collar. He has a small recently shaved patch on his back from an injury - fur just beginning to grow back.If you find him, or think you may have spotted him please let us know a.s.a.p. either by posting here or email maddyjacobs@hotmail.co.uk we all miss him terribly and are desperate to get him back. have you done all the usual things - notified vets, notices on trees etc, phoned Cats Protection Lost and Found on 020 8423 1403, also RSPCA.  Hope you find him - this cold weather is not good for a cat to be lost in.

Sorry your cat is missing. As Nina says, you have to cover all the bases. Posters in your neighbourhood with a colour picture are essential as when lost, cats commonly do not go very far. I would recommend to also knock on doors in the streets around your home, as he might have been taken in and lots of people do not put up found posters. Also, people may not venture into their sheds to check whilst it is cold so the personal request is better. fingers crossed he makes his way home soon.

I dont know where you live but i was woken up in the small hours one night last week by two cats fghting. One looked remarkbly like your cat. They were on stuart Rd at the corner with Derwentwater rd. Havent seen either cat since though.

Thanks Alison, we live on East Churchfield Rd so it could well have been him.... especially as he seems to have a local  nemesis!

Great news!!....last night our cat appeared at the back door after three and a half weeks missing!!  He is skin and bones but well, and happy to be back!  Thank you to all the people who have been supportive and  looking out for him..... it feels like Xmas has come early!!

So glad - what a super Christmas present!  Lots of TLC needed - also is he microchipped?  Having said that, I expect he was shut in somewhere.

Absolutely wonderful new!, best get him a check up at the vet, loads of TLC and keep him in for a couple of weeks.
