Ealing Council on-line petition scheme goes live

Ealing Council has set up an on-line petition scheme. This will make it easier for us to set up and take part in local petitions. The link to the site is:http://ealing-consult.limehouse.co.uk/portal

Can't see this on google.In plain english, would you like to summarise how it works and generally about petitions in Ealing.Per se it is not very helpful just to know that something has happened, especially when it has not been announced in the list of press releases in December or November.Makes you wonder what the Press Officer does for a living.

Or perhaps the Council doesn't want to publicise the online petition scheme.If it gets too much use, then those pesky Council Tax Payers will have yet another, relatively easy avenue to call the Council to account, but with added publicity & clout.
