Date expiring visitor parking vouchers for CPZ

Just noticed that there is no "2011" to scratch off on my CPZ visitor parking vouchers (family staying for Christmas).Called council.Response - use the old vouchers but do not scratch off any year.They hope to get new vouchers with 2011 (and I presume further years into the future) around May 2011!Person on the phone said that it is mentioned in FAQ on council site - but I could not find it athttp://www.ealing.gov.uk/services/transport_and_streets/parking/controlled_parking_zones/FAQs/index.htmland he had a look himself and could not find it either (although he had seen it recently).

There was quite a debate on one of the community sites. But it all seems fine as long as you remember not to scratch the year out at all.

The council person should learn to use the council search engine. To do a Google-like search, put AND between the words.So, from www.ealing.gov.uk :Searching for "cpz AND year AND scratch" gives 8 matches.Number 7 probably answers your question.(The search engine is to OR the words, which gives a hopelessly large number of hits.)
