Does anyone recommend someone who could repair the stained glass panel in our front door? It urgently needs to be mended and possibly some sort of double glazing.

Clare, what we did with ours was to back the stained glass panels with reinforced glass panels (the kind with metal strips inserted in it) - to prevent burglaries. It doesn't detract too much from the stained glass panels.

Thanks all for advice. Dee your suggestion is not an option because the panels were already so badly damaged that they need to be fixed so we may as well do it properly. Got a couple of estimates and the panels are now out and about to be fixed by Aldo so thanks Neil. Will let you know how finished result looks...

Just to say that I would have no hesitation in recommending Aldo Diana if anyone has stained glass in need of repair. He was cheaper than the other quote we got by a long way and the renewed/repaired stained glass is now in place. We are very impressed by the quality of the workmanship and by Aldo himself who is a lovely guy and left our hallway cleaner than it was before he arrived.Thanks for the tip Neil.
