Reuse of computer parts

I have several functional computer parts (e.g. RAM) that I no longer require. Does anyone know of a local charity that is looking for part to reuse?I did previously dispose of some via the Chiswick Recycling Action Group   http://www.crag-online.org.ukwhich now seems to be moribund.

I would be interested because I have older computers in use which are more than adequate for testing and learning about Free Open Source Software such as Debian Linux, although some could use extra bits.
