Big Puddle on Goldsmith Road

Having lived on Goldsmith Road since the last century - I have never known there to be such a big puddle at the bottom (or top end) of Goldsmith Road by the Albion. Is there a problem with the drainage system after the work carried out on Churchfield Road? It hasn't been raining that heavily - what would happen if we had a real downpour?

I have reported it to Thames Water - I think it must be a leak of some sort as it has been there since before the weekend and is getting slowly bigger.I spoke to them around 1700 and they said they would send someone to look at it within three days...given its not gushing or anything.

.....possibly a blocked gully caused by the builders working on The Albion Public House and not a leak.  Ashley, our local enforcement officer is looking into the matter.

Highways chaps say the builders blocked the gullies with concrete (oops) and are about to get a swingeing bill.Flood now gone!

......thought that may be the case.  I hope they also got charged for the lampost they dislodged some time ago.Perhaps the Council's Building Control Department need to take at look at the interior of the building, lest it fall down!!!!
